I really loved A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and I’m sad that s1 is already over. That said, I do hope Ira Parker tones down some of the comedic elements in s2. When the show builds up what feels like a serious moment only to undercut it with a joke, it gets a little annoying.

Reading ASOIAF made me realise how disappointing Game of Thrones actually is. I can forgive some Season 1 choices due to budget constraints and the uncertainty around whether the show would even continue, but I can never forgive them for cutting Patchface 💔

Anyone who says Game of Thrones was accurate to the books for the first 4 seasons is wrong I'm in the middle of A Clash Of Kings and I simply cannot reconcile book Daenerys and a few others with what we see in the show D&D abandoned much of ASOIAF as early as season 2

@saminatorhh It was filmed last October and uploaded to Decider on YouTube 2 days ago. I would’ve assumed nobody on the production team knew it was a spoiler, but the woman who interviewed Dex and Peter actually wrote an article about it at the start of February, tho nobody picked up on it.

@entitstrange Was this filmed live? If not, I'm surprised it was allowed to air uncut. That's an absolutely huge bomb drop, and showrunners/ George would NOT let something like that slip. You can see the sheer panic and damage control on Peters face as he tries to stop it, but Dexter says it😅

“for the life you owe me” small paul (likely dunks descendant) also saved sam’s life by carrying him during the retreat from the fist of the first men and for this reason paul is killed by an other and raised as a wight. samwell later kills him at crasters during the mutiny.
