The Uganda Police Force’s statement on the arrest of Alien Skin is perhaps the most embarrassing self-indictment in the history of the establishment. Look at the charges: 1⃣Violent robbery. 2⃣Driving without a license. 3⃣Illegal use of sirens/lights. 4⃣Assaulting a police officer. By listing these, the Police are admitting that a civilian has been operating a private militia and violating traffic laws with a huge ego for years, and they did absolutely nothing until now. Why? Because Alien Skin isn't just a musician; he is an institutional byproduct. This is the classic "Ghetto Recruitment" strategy. The state recruits "weird ghetto boys" to manage urban opposition zones. They give them protection, they give them a sense of being "untouchable," and they look the other way while they breed a culture of hardcore criminality. But here is the punchline: Less than 2 hours after the "theatrical" arrest, following the intervention of Commissioner Hellen Saku, Alien Skin is already back on the streets. This release didn't "solve" anything. It just confirmed to every "Fangone Soldier" and every ghetto youth that as long as you are anchored in the "Deep State," the police are merely a nuisance, not an authority. The state didn't just release a suspect; they just injected 1000cc of high-octane fuel into the same ego that has been terrorizing Kampala. We're not looking at law enforcement.
