I hadn’t posted about it…but the mama dog I’d been fostering left for Minnesota Friday morning. I’d had her 3 months and it was hard to watch her go, but I knew it was for the best. Good morning from South Texas! Not a happy one at all. This is Rusty a little cat that came struggling up to my house about 7 years ago. Skinny and full of worms. We took him in and took him to a vet and got him all repaired. He’s had an amazing life. He is an amazing cat! A little over a month ago he came home definitely hurt like he had been either hit my car or some dog got a hold of him. We think we’re gonna have to put him to sleep. So today I hurt for this little guy. today could id a horrible day for me. Please pray for him.

Bad pain level day again with my Diffuse Systemic Sclerosis… the kind where your joints are swollen and stiff, the fatigue is bone-deep, and the invisible internal stuff (GI mess, tightening lungs, all of it) makes every little thing feel like a battle. Where the meds are worse than the symptoms sometimes. 😔 But I’m still here. Still fighting, still smiling. Still trusting tomorrow will be better. One day I will tell my story on how this came about. I will have my voice, but until then I will continue to bring awareness so that others don’t feel alone. Chronic illness warriors know this rollercoaster too well looking “mostly okay” on the outside while your body is screaming on the inside. If you’re in the trenches with any autoimmune/rare disease, drop a 💪 or “me too” so we can lift each other up. Early awareness saves lives and slows progression. We got this. #DiffuseSystemicSclerosis #SclerodermaWarrior #ChronicPain #InvisibleIllness #OneDayAtATime
