@pekkagaiser @gortok It’s reporting to me. I’m not nearly as cool as Gortok, but like him, I’ve been using SO since it was in beta. (That’s where we met, in fact.) I also had a pretty big role in getting UX.stackexchange.com off the ground. Thanks for your feedback!

@patrick_mc @gortok Will this position be working with/reporting to you? I'm massively biased, of course, but if I were looking, I would definitely pay attention to a job posting featuring a SE mod. i.e. maybe a "who would you be working with?" section would make sense. Also what size is the team

Working on a list of accessibility anti-patterns. The one that can be remediated by adding tabindex=“0” is called “eligible receiver” and I’m pretty pleased with myself.

@sompylasar @sindresorhus Imagine you could view class and function names in disassembled code for 25 years. There’s an easily discoverable way to disassemble any application. You learned to code by dissembling your favorite apps. Others learn from your apps. Does that help you understand?

@sindresorhus The web has finally become a compilation target, a platform, an operating system for applications. It's like complaining of having no function or class names in disassembled CPU machine codes.

I learned web development in the early days (long before GitHub) with the "View source" button. The trend of generated class-names makes me sad...

The fewer moving pieces (vars) you have in your code, the easier it to read. Make val not var. This is the reason Kotlin function parameters are immutable by default. Learn to avoid vars in your code.

@Nothke @RikardAslund @olafurw @MatRopert Definitely reinvent the wheel! Do it to learn how wheels work and how to work with wheels. Just prefer the off-the-shelf wheel in production code. :)
