@AlexFinn been doing this for weeks. i have a skill i call "reverse engineer"... Feed it any skill link, it reads the intent, strips everything suspicious, and rebuilds a custom version tailored to my setup. 20 minutes to build, saves me from ever trusting a random install again

You should NEVER be downloading AI agent skills from the internet It's the biggest attack vector for security breaches right now Tons of skills in the public skill sites you see are compromised with prompts that open your computer up Do this instead: If you see any skill you want your agent to have, give the link to your agent Say "look at what this skill does. I want you to do something similar. Think about how this fits into our workflow and how you'd use it. Then build your own version of it, custom for what we do" Your agent then will build its own, secure version that can't have dirty prompts from random people on the internet This is the biggest security practice you can implement

Introducing Tolaria! 💧 Today I am releasing a macOS desktop app for managing markdown knowledge bases, and helping both AI and humans operate them. It’s free and open source, and always will be. I have been working on it for three months, and I now use it to run my life and work. I personally have a massive workspace of 10,000 notes — the result of 6 years of Refactoring — which I now operate on Tolaria. Tolaria is the main collaboration surface with my AI agents: they create new notes there, connect them to what exists, and edit existing ones. Everything is easy to understand for them, because it’s just markdown files. In a way, it’s my implementation of @karpathy's LLM wiki. @jonathan_builds I really do like Cowork a lot. I find Dispatch to be...kind of a nothing burger. The single-thread for everything kinda kills it for me.

what i want out of a personal ai system... * dynamic memory * plugins (for interacting w/ APIs) * skills (for running common workflows) * scheduling * remote access * chat threading/topics and i want it all powered by opus. and i don't want to pay $50-100/day for it. 🫣

@linuz90 my understanding is it's kinda cut off at the knees and doesn't have the full set of tool calls that other methods have but i don't know that for a fact.

i need to hear from opus 🦞 users on what they've successfully switched to. if you've never used opus as your daily driver in openclaw...you frankly have no clue what you were missing so all these random obscure models probably seem totally fine. i assure they are not.
