Do I have any sympathy for Rachel Reeves? After what she knowingly inflicted on millions of farmers, small business owners, hard working British men and women? No. I have no sympathy, whatsoever. Zero. She is responsible for so much unnecessary pain. The embarrassment she is feeling today doesn’t even scratch the surface of the shame and hardship millions of Brits have endured directly because of her incompetence. Bankrupt businesses, livelihoods destroyed, so many sleepless nights, laying off decent colleagues, family companies closed after decades in business? Directly thanks to Rachel Reeves. She’s not fit to be a parish councillor, never mind chancellor. Her talents would be better suited to mindless admin in a dead-end HR department. Too many times I have sat in the chamber listening to her talk ‘business’, and it is genuinely terrifying that she was ever in charge of our economy. I couldn't care less that she's a woman or that she cried in Parliament. She is incompetent. What a sorry judgement Rachel Reeves is on British politics in 2026. I look forward to the day when individuals of her talent find their correct level in a genuinely capitalist society - cleaning other people’s shoes. What I would give for a Chancellor with actual business experience - employed people, built businesses, generated opportunities. Done something. That is exactly who a Restore Britain Government will deliver.

But the animals he ran into weren’t the ones he’d come for. Dosio wasn’t new to trophy hunting. He’d hunted Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, and Elephants across Africa and the US, and his California home reportedly held dozens of mounted heads from decades of paid hunts. This trip was supposed to add another rare animal to that history. But when his guide led him deeper through the trees, they crossed paths with five female Elephants guarding a calf. Then the herd charged. Dosio was fatally trampled, while his guide was left seriously injured. The shotgun Dosio had been carrying was lost in the chaos, and reports say he’d only been issued it because Gabonese law barred him from bringing his own rifle. Forest Elephants are endangered. 🚨 6 full days since we found him screaming in agony in an alley way and Mr Bear is still alive. 🏥 I thought we lost him a couple of times In the last 72 hours. He was really struggling to hang on. 🩸 We now know that it is leptospirosis that ravaged his body. It’s a disease passed on by rats and stagnant water. 🤒 His extreme pain is being managed and he has IV drips and all the meds he needs. He was puking, diarrhea and severe life threatening anemia all weekend. I don’t really know how he held on. 🥘 Last night and today he is back eating and drinking. It’s a tiny step but we think he might be 10% better. Still critical and he could slip away very easily but we all have some hope just looking at him today. 👁️ For the first time he has some clarity in his eyes. They are relaxing as he knows he is safe. 🛌 At the moment his best friend is sleep and his medicines. I don’t know how this story ends and it’s still a long shot we save him as he hasn’t even been able to move in 6 days. But if you told me Bear would be alive today and eating tiny bits of poached chicken I would have bitten your arm off for that outcome just 2 days ago. Please keep everything crossed for Bear 🙏
