Just wanted that 7technique who can play a wide 9 to fit in the 4-3. I wanted a FS earlier, but can’t get it all at once

The Dolphins clearly don't give a F what people think about their draftees. They have a vision for them, and take the people they like. I respect it. Will it work? We'll see.

@OmarKelly @ckparrot Hope their arrogance pays off. They routinely reached on players, not bad players but definitely far reaches, and act as if the just above average team building that they did in Green Bay is head and shoulders above everybody else’s intellect. Still no FS or DE to speak of.

We traded up for Johnson and not another corner got taken in the round whilst not one list in the country has him as the 2nd best corner. Which is fine, he’s a solid pick, but we couldn’t have kept value and wait? Maybe a team was moving up, who knows.

But a lot of fans have PTSD over the front offices that have ran this team for over 20 years. Let the new guys cook! Patience.

@ckparrot @OmarKelly Not another corner taken after Johnson through the first after a trade up. Proctor will be a guard and thought is we could’ve dropped more than one spot, but they probably had other insight. Loved most of the players, but it was definitely a draft done off of their own beliefs.

@latent_bug @OmarKelly @ckparrot My opinion on drafting players is to rank the best players for what you need (we need it all) and go off of that list and stick to who you want for your scheme. It worked for Seattle years ago (Bruce Irvin) and I don’t mind it. But again, it’s arrogant to say “we don’t care” lol

We moved up for Johnson whilst not another corner was taken after we picked him-illustrating that we didn’t need to trade up. Again, maybe someone was trading up for Johnson over Hood or Terrell…who knows?
