The question was "deserve to win" The USA do not deserve to win it (yet) Nations like Portugal or the Netherlands have spent generations building football culture from the ground up. Their players grow up breathing the sport. Their fans live and die by it. Their systems produce technical skill and football IQ that can’t be mass-manufactured in a decade. The U.S. can’t fake what it doesn’t have yet: true football heritage. Not the crowds, not the grassroots, not the deep national obsession that turns raw talent into world-class players. Winning a World Cup requires more than athleticism and funding, it demands decades of obsession, culture, and identity. The U.S. won’t be lifting the trophy anytime soon. @AgedTinder @JOKAQARMY1 Math doesn’t care whether people believe in it. Consensus determines price, not validity. Bitcoin’s rules hold whether you cheer for it or hate it. Fiat collapses when trust fails; Bitcoin keeps producing blocks regardless.

I disagree. Most XRP "investors" are all "BUT BANKS ARE GONNA USE IT BRO!" and cannot give a compelling argument. I am not using "most" loosely. Most XRP holders when asked cannot tell you the difference between XRP, Ripple Labs and XRPL. They hold because a friend that used to work with Satoshi back at the CIA told them to buy.

I don't think it's been adopted anywhere near the scale that it's being promoted (as evidenced by on chain volumes and data ), but more importantly, what it's capable of. I think this is the crux of most investors in XRP, they understand its true potential and assess that its price doesn't match its value. This is my position. There is a deeper truth here to all of crypto, this is proto money. A small story becoming a big one. The vast majority of price appreciation is driven by narrative, and the social consensus behind it. Not the tech, not the partnerships, but the promises of what could be. We are watching the Internet of Value being born in real-time and we are all hoping that our piece of it graduates to its full vision. I personally picked XRP because of this reason with the understanding that it has the strongest community in crypto. Some of us are actively building the Internet of Value instead of relying on others to do so. With regards to stable coins and their growth I personally believe there is incredible volatility and suffering that is being built. They hide severe hidden risks that people don't appreciate, without any of the assurances of traditional bank deposits (like FDIC). People don't understand how they can depeg (see Luna or even Circle during the Silicon Valley bank fiasco). People don't understand the duration risk of the underlying assets that back stable coins (it's not $1 = 1 SC). They are backed by promises from an insurer, whose value carries hidden market and volatility risks. Finally, and most importantly, stable coins represent the final death gasp of a dying global hegemony. We are in the late stages of empire cycle that traditionally has meant severe and abrupt currency debasement. The volatility of the purchasing power that comes with this can be both abrupt and shocking. Anyone touting the benefits of stable coins as being "stable" doesn't appreciate the seriousness of the situation and is selling something. We are all here in crypto for purchasing power, not stability. Increased use of stable coins is a good thing for the tech stack but does little to address our desire for investment, and even less to solve the eventual problem of a world that doesn't suffer from Triffin's dilemma.

I say this with no disrespect, looking for an actual answer. What is the current pitch for $XRP? The token, not Ripple the company. Western Union chose Solana for their stablecoin. Swift went with Linea on ETH, which was the selling point I heard for years? Stablecoins have clearly taken the reigns for payments, so I get their stablecoin being in play. But what utility does $XRP have? Again, not trolling. Asking.
