🚨Patrick Vieira on Arsenal vs PSG in the Champions League final: “For me, the referee was on PSG’s side. The penalty incidents involving Noni Madueke and Nuno Mendes were overlooked, and those decisions had a big impact on the match. Arsenal dominated large parts of the game, controlled possession, and kept PSG under pressure throughout. Arsenal currently has the best team in the world, and I still can’t believe they had PSG defending from the first minute to the last. When you create that many chances and force a team of PSG’s quality to spend most of the game defending, it shows the level Arsenal have reached. They were brave, aggressive, and played with real intensity. Sometimes football comes down to fine margins, and tonight a few key decisions didn’t go their way. Despite the result, Arsenal showed why they are competing at the highest level. If they continue performing like that, they’ll have many more opportunities to fight for major trophies in the years ahead.”

@commissionase Thats exactly what happened also noting the fact that they worked with Richard Hughes at Bournemouth. He was rejecting jobs with the confidence of someone who already had one

We were all worried that Iraola got Bournemouth to Europe only to leave afterwards.. We didn't know he was secretly negotiating with Liverpool.. Wise guy..

@henry_hill94 Richard Hughes must have already promised him the job. The confidence with which he was rejecting jobs tells a lot

Andoni Iraola has played an absolute blinder. He could have gone early and accepted the Palace, Leverkusen or AC Milan job but he held his nerve only to land on Liverpool. I wonder how Alonso feels about the whole situation?..

Liverpool are weird, if you knew you were going to sack slot why didn’t you sack him earlier and appoint Alonso?

@CharZiyanah Nobody rejected Iraola. He already had a deal in place to become Liverpool manager. Thats why he was rejecting all jobs

@scarletreport I suspect Iraola already had a deal with Liverpool to become their coach. Its not just coincidence that the guy rejected so many jobs. The guy was also sure he will remain in England

It seems that a sizable portion of Man United fans are not responding well to this. I see things differently: 1) Iraola was available before Wilcox and Berrada made the decision to go with Carrick. This is the kind of strategic management they are paid for. So if they knew that Iraola was available and still went with Carrick, that can only mean that they deem Carrick a better fit for the club. This is a conversation for the end of the season. 2) Ironically, Iraola’s appointment at Liverpool will mean that they will be determined not to be proven wrong. So we could potentially witness one of the best transfer windows in the history of the club in order to provide Carrick with all the required tools to succeed. 3) Whoever gets appointed by our rivals is none of our business. The principles of stoicism dictate that the best way to achieve long term success is to focus on ourselves and not fret over what we can’t control. 4) Michael Carrick is no slouch.
Liverpool FC@LFC

Liverpool FC can confirm Arne Slot is to depart his role as head coach with immediate effect and that the process to appoint a successor is under way. He leaves with a Premier League title to his name and our deepest gratitude and appreciation.

Andoni Iraola clear favourite to take over as Liverpool manager after Slot departure but Manchester United fans believed he wasn't good enough to at least be interviewed by United.. This is why you all deserve Carrick tbh...

@Udewalter_ If he was on 70k a week we can sell at 40 or 50M. Urgate is probably on 200k a week so the buying will have to match or better the wages hence the throw away price

€28m for Ugarte? We can’t even put 50m in the head of these players before we rush to sell them off cheap, it's actually exhausting. Galatasaray see a proper midfield enforcer and they're licking their lips because they know they're about to get an absolute bargain. Why are we always moving like a clearance store when it comes to offloading players? If it was Chelsea or City selling him, they’d be demanding €55m minimum and getting it without blinking. We need to start hyping our own players and demanding serious money. €28m is absolute pennies for a player of his quality. #MUFC

🚨🚨| NEW: Galatasaray have stepped up their pursuit of Manuel Ugarte and made him a priority target. Manchester United are asking for around €28m, with the Turkish club seriously exploring a deal. [@Aksam]

Tottenham that finished 17th in two consecutive seasons have already sealed two deals and it’s not even June. While the biggest club in England that wants to win the league are still confused on who to go for. Okay 👍

🚨 Marcos Senesi to Tottenham, here we go! Deal in place after the verbal agreement reported since March. Four year contract for Senesi who’s set to put pen to paper soon and join #THFC as free agent. Another one after Robertson. 🇦🇷✍🏻

I asked the Marketing Manager of @PrideinnHotels whether he was worried about the rise of Airbnb's in Kenya, and especially the coastal region, and he said "No". His reasons; many Kenyans on holiday still don't want to do their own laundry or cook own food. ☺️. Your thoughts?

This Ederson that Manchester United fans are overlooking will easily turn fans favorite next season If you saw what Carrick did with Mason Mount last match against Brighton, you will understand why a solid workaholic like Ederson that is not a full time DM will work with Mainoo in that midfield
