Here's a good little hack... buy digital music from Bandcamp. Then add it to your iTunes/AppleMusic library. When you stream it to your phone, computer, appleTV, etc... the artists get paid again!

@345triangle I saw these on Saturday while running. They seemed to be making zero difference at the time but they are new. I also wonder if its an experiment because I only saw them on one short span of Yamate-dori.

yamate-dori (one of the only major routes in tokyo with dedicated bike "lanes" alongside) now has these new signs up to highlight who should go where. not ideal, but tons of pedestrians ignored the lanes altogether before so hopefully this helps. and actually did seem to today!

I keep playing with ChatGPT and AI driven interfaces like Poe and Perplexity and end up disillusioned with the results given the hype. The language sounds authoritative but the content more wrong than right. This result was personally insulting and just logically stupid.

@jonathontoon I’d be careful. There are loads of Kim’s and Rodriguez living in NY and San Francisco but it seems to think only people with common anglo names likes Smith and Johnson live in the US. Of course it’s a sampling of two names but if I was presented this by a human I would ask why.
