@duncan_morrow The reason the Nurses caring for your sister are from Africa & Asia is because they're far much cheaper to employ than fully trained & properly qualified UK or Irish Nurses. It's as simple as that - and not quite the 'gotchya' you think it is.

Just back from the hospital where my sister is seriously ill and being cared for by night nurses who came here from Africa and Asia. So this is unbearable, shameful and disgusting to me. And committed by children given implicit ‘permission’ by adults. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@GerryCarrollPBP Sort the antiquated sewers and build more houses. Rents across all cities in Europe command higher rents. Thankfully we are all not living in London or Dublin!

The private rented sector is completely out of control and under-regulated, with average rents of over £1,100 in Belfast. I hope MLAs recognise the urgent need to address the housing crisis, and vote in favour of my amendment on Monday.
