Financially, Scotland currently puts more into the pot than they receive back in their spending budget. You would expect the military etc. to be an alliance.

I say let the SNP have it, but... if a 'YES' & Independence is granted, Scotland is no longer allowed to use sterling as its currency, remove all UK military out of Scotland. When it all crumbles to a bag of shite, which it will IMO, if they want to rejoin the union, no more bloody talk of independence. It's radical, I know, but hay-ho.

I am a firm believer in direct democracy. The people rather than the politicians should have the final say. Based on the Scottish election results, Scotland should have a second independence referendum. Let the people decide. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Young teacher (26) told me today she is cutting down to 4 days because of the high Scottish tax level. She is only dropping a few £hundred in pay as result. Definitely worth looking into for any teacher, no point working a fifth day for such a low return

@real_shirelass He's being realistic. One reason for mass migration over the last twenty or so years was to pay for Boomer pensions. We have too many old people vs young people. How can you expect a smaller number of younger people to pay for a larger number of pensioners? Not sustainable.

@JamesWathland Club would know already if it was a broken ankle, surgery would be today after X ray confirms and swelling drops. It's more likely to be tissue damage if they are waiting on scan results. Either was he'll be out 2-3 months (club said) and hopefully catch the season end.
