Right so this case has bugged me for a while now so here's some free advice for Wes Edens & Nassef Sawiris: 1/ Assemble a legal team of the best competition law solicitors i.e. (Quinn Emanuel or Slaughter & May) and build an ironclad case in roughly 3 to 6 months which can be done based on the precedents set in other cases. 2/ Lodge a claim in the competition Appeal Tribunal or High Court, then sue the @premierleague as an entity and naming Richard Masters personally. 3/ Seek a High Court Injunction to suspend PSR enforcement on Villa (#avfc) pending a resolution on the case plus damages for lost revenue i.e. from restricted player signings. 4/ What Grounds? -Restraint of Trade under UK competition act as PSR rules are anti-competitive. -Absurd level of delay in the Man City Case of 115 charges. -Breach of fiduciary whereby Richard Masters and the EPL board have failed in their duty to all member clubs w/ inconsistent application of the rules i.e. Forest/Leicester/Everton etc. whilst ignoring Chelsea and Man United's discretionary accounting. -ECHR Article 1 Protocol 1 on property rights could potentially be argued based on how it interferes with ownership investments. I know this is a bit of a long one mate but if I'm Wes or Nas I don't ramp and park my tanks on the EPL front lawn and don't backdown.
