• Joe Shield • Paul Winstanley • Enzo Maresca This where the people responsible signing Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Alejandro Garnacho. Enzo Maresca welcomed the idea of Gittens and Delap because he worked with them previous in Man city Academic, while data was responsible for Garnacho. They thought the idea of Garnacho might explode in 2 seasons, so they don't want to be left out or be in regret when they had the opportunity

@CFCJnR Because of the transfer fee Chelsea paid so they also want to sell him for big money that's why? And were you not the one praising him yesterday?

Maxence Lacroix is one of my top two choices for Chelsea to sign at Centre Back. Debut for France was so good that it earned him a World Cup spot, he is a CCB/RCB. He's like a mature Wesley Fofana, but better and more composed in possession.

@Blue_Footy People forget that alvarez scored in just four laliga games this season and in two seasons for atletico he has failed to score 20 npg in lalliga

Glen Johnson tells Chelsea to sign Julian Alvarez: 🗣 "Signing a striker should be priority number one for Chelsea this summer. You can’t compete at the top of the Premier League without an out-and-out striker scoring 20 goals a season, and Chelsea don’t have someone of that description at the moment. I think Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid would be perfect. He seems like he’s on the move this summer and that’s exactly the type of player Chelsea need to go out and snap up."

@CFCJnR "For long passes, was up there with goalkeepers, outfield players didn't even come close to him." The accuracy of his long passes are bang average, and this is without looking at the stats. His shooting from outside the box is weak, mostly inaccurate and average...

Chelsea signed Enzo Fernandez in the idea of him being the next elite deep lying playmaker. He was actually doing that initially, only Rodri came close to his stats for touches on the ball. For long passes, was up there with goalkeepers, outfield players didn't even come close to him. Xabi Alonso would probably love having him as his Xhaka, anyone would, he's a good CM. But a big problem is he's kind of perfected being an 8 too, and has a love for goals, assists. He doesn't want to go back deep, him and his father have said they want him more advanced. That's a problem, unless Chelsea sign a 6, and play 4-3-3, and Cole Palmer as RW, don't work. Enzo and Caicedo could geniunely recreate Jorginho and Kante, but Fernandez doesn't want to. It would need a back 3 protection, but if your deep lying playmaker is not interested in being deep. Then unfortunately the best action is to sell and move on, my agenda on him was a bit too harsh. But it's because the team is too imbalanced, and it's not even his fault, just terrible squad planning. Just to finish this ramble off, only saying this because I just can't see teams bidding for him as of now. Only way to fix him at Chelsea is he has to accept and be willing to play deeper, or sign a proper 6, play 4-3-3.

@CFCJnR And who told you hale doesn't want to? The fact that he does it even on international duty that's elite coaching just like kounde was doing the offside trap for france so it's now like second nature Alonso should guide him but don't lock him to one zone let him influence all area

Ok, I’ve been thinking… He should be number 2 on the LW signing The thing is he should be used as a creator ( crosses with left / interplay and 1-2’s ) rather than as someone who completes actions. When you view it that way and what we

One thing I love so much about this Luis Enrique structure and set up is, every player in the team has the freedom to move up and down the pitch, np player is assigned to a particular role. What matter to them is the identity of the team and the mentality, we attack together and we defend together, no single player is bigger than the team.

"Filip Jorgensen wants to leave Chelsea for lack of playing time" This was what I said, we had Dorde Petrovic who already was part of the team and having a healthy competition with Robert Sanchez, Enzo Maresca came in and said he wanted a ball playing goal keeper and Petrovic was loaned and then sold. Maresca brought in Filip Jorgensen and refused to play him, he continued with Sanchez as his goalie. Now, what was the point of selling Petrovic and buying Jorgensen? He also did same with Felix, Nkunku, Drewsbury-Hall and Viega. Again, Maresca ruined so many things in Chelsea.

The two top LW targets for Chelsea should be Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon mainly because the squad lacks attackers who can consistently impose themselves physically on defenses and elevate the dynamism of the attack. Chelsea already have creators, passers and players who naturally operate outside the block. What the team lacks are attackers who give direct access into the box through carrying power, movement and physical presence. That’s why Rogers makes so much sense. He’s not just a carrier, he attacks space aggressively off the ball, generates strong shot volume inside the box with both feet and has the physicality to dominate duels in central areas. His profile adds vertical pressure to defensive lines constantly because defenders feel his presence both with and without the ball + thé aerial dominance. Gordon offers a slightly different version of the same idea. More explosive, more direct and more transition-oriented, but still obsessed with attacking the box. The carries into dangerous areas, the aggressive off-ball running, the shot volume and the athletic intensity all create constant stress on defensive structures. Modern football is increasingly about how many players can threaten the last line consistently. Teams become easier to defend when too many attackers want the ball to feet outside the block instead of attacking space behind it. This is the reason why Bayern signed Luiz Diaz and why Pep signed Semenyo. Chelsea need more players who pin back defenses, stretch back lines and force defenders to physically defend their own box repeatedly. Rogers and Gordon both bring that chaos, presence and final-third aggression that the current attack lacks.

Chelsea are keeping Nicolas Jackson and are very happy with him. The club believes his experienced abroad has shapened him and he will brings a lot to the team. He previous season, he had a very good understanding with Cole Palmer forming a dominant bond on the pitch and the club also believes he will have a healthy competition with Joao Pedro. This is left to Xabi Alonso to decide if Jackson in his plan moving forward. As of now, Jackson is staying.

This was Maresca when we lost to Sunderland, this guy was a big problem. He ruined the project you like it or not. Big clubs don't prepare for smaller team, you are coming to dictate how the game will go. You are going to force them to adapt to your play. Imagine watching Sunderland matches to prepare your team, this was the lowest I have seen from a manager managing a top team. Maresca ruined BlueCo project
Pys@CFCPys

🚨 Maresca: “I watched 9 Sunderland games before ours, they never started with a back 5. So I prepared to face back four, then they started a back 5 against us. In the changing room, before the players go out for a warm-up, I need to tell the players, ‘Guys, all the Sunderland preparation, put in the rubbish and in 10 minutes I need to change our plan, this is difficult for the players” (@BobbyVincentFL)

We had bad squad and players let's agree to that but • Do Aston Villa that finished 4 had better players than us? • Do Bournemouth that finished 6th had better players than us? • Do Sunderland that finished 7th had better players than us? • Do Brighton that finished 8th had better players than us? These are questions I have been thinking about. We liked it or not, Maresca, Rosenior and McFarlene are not good coaches/Managers
