According to prosecutors, Gutierrez-Ochoa masterminded the transportation and distribution of some 40,000 kilograms of meth and 2,000 kilograms of cocaine into the United States. He also allegedly kidnapped members of the Mexican Navy. This is the crucial work that the Department of Justice does.
