So, I went to AIIMS Mangalagiri today. Met my seniors from MD/DM who are now Faculty there and also talked with residents. If you got a rank in INICETwhich doesn’t get you AIIMS Delhi/PGI/JIPMER or 2nd gen AIIMS - and you’re tired - don’t want to prepare for 3 more months of NEET PG. AIIMS Mangalgiri is a solid option for Medical branches - I.e Radio Med Pedia Derma. OPD is very well functioning. Good numbers. IPD is functional- might seem less than State colleges but frankly I think that’s good. Residents got free at 7PM in evening- allowing to treat patients more in protocol and more in depth knowledge of diseases. You will see rare cases - and all other benefits of INI My main gripe is - the leadership is not very very - how do I put it - aggressive. A little laid back - like govt job. Funds exist It’s growing-rapidly and frankly - within a year - it won’t even a question ether to chose AIIMS Mangalagiri or not. Some people might feel that I don’t want to get free and I learn only with excessive load - then choose a state college post giving NEET PG. It’s a no brainer to choose it for diagnostic clinical branches - Radio and Nuclear Medicine. Have made a vlog on my experience- you can see YT channel for the same.

Petition to allow mbbs admissions based on EQ and DQ (Dehat Quotient) too many chappri coded people getting in, ig was bound to happen with such increased seats.
