I just took over an account which you've been billing for 3yrs - they said I cancelled my account but that I need to call every product department you offer separately to cancel each individual product. And that you emailed us about this but to an employee who doesn't work here for 3yrs since I shut down my account with you so obviously no one knew Makes no sense.

ok after 45min @Paychex hung up on me again when asking for a refund because I cancelled my account 3yrs ago but they kept charging me. It then takes 90 days to close my account in which they will still keep charging me.

Me: Hey you charged me $120 but my account was closed 3yrs ago Provider: Yes I see that you closed your account 3yrs ago, let me transfer you. New provider person: You shut down your account 3yrs ago but still use a product that finally charged you 3 years later and I dont know why. Me: But you just confirmed I shut down my entire account so you owe me money / refund Provider: Yes let me check on that "types a lot and puts me on hold" and transfer you. Crazy.

@adamstatonsmith @Paychex Had a client once that sold their business.They had email confirmation that Paychex would file the W2s. Provided client with copies of W2s to distribute but Paychex never filed them. When the penalty notices came in they claimed they “per the eng letter” weren’t responsible.

You pay @Paychex to remit your payroll taxes. We just found out 5.5 months later they didn’t. No reason. No explanation. Their answer: “we could not find a reason.” That’s a hell of a service.
