I was talking to one airport authority senior official casually and he revealed that this guy @annamalai_k was involved directly in gold smuggling and had personally spoken to some of the officers to open up other south indian airports as well apart from chennai where he had managed to convince some officials to help him. Thank god when the matter brought to the right persons' knowledge, they reported the same to concerned people and his highhanded approach was resisted. Accordingly, gold smuggling racket was unearthed in Chennai airport.
