Very happy to share that Karimnagar is moving closer to getting a Central Paramilitary Forces Group Centre. Following my formal request to the Telangana government for allotment of suitable land for the project, the Cabinet has now approved allocation of 14 acres of government land for establishment of the Group Centre in Karimnagar district. Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji and the guidance of Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji, continuous efforts were made from my side to bring this important project to Karimnagar. After I held discussions with the Director Generals of Assam Rifles, BSF and CISF, in-principle approval was secured for setting up the Group Centre, subject to allotment of land by the Telangana government. The Cabinet has approved: • 4 acres in Veldi village, Manakondur mandal • 5 acres in Rukmapur village, Choppadandi mandal • 5 acres in Ganneruvaram mandal The proposed Group Centre for Assam Rifles, BSF and CISF will strengthen security infrastructure and further accelerate development in Karimnagar district. @PMOIndia @PIBHomeAffairs @official_dgar @BSF_India @CISFHQrs
