Great job, University Police! On February 3, officers at UB North arrested a suspect who allegedly started a fire inside Baldy Hall. Officers evacuated the building, removed the suspect & extinguished the fire. This is exactly why fully trained University Police officers matter.

Our fight is for fair & equitable pension for our members. Following a productive Lobby Day engaging with dozens of members at the Capitol and Legislative Office Building, numerous elected legislators then joined our Legislative Dinner with police officers from across New York.

Fair & equal pension remains the top priority for the PBA of New York State. Our member pensions are outdated & inequitable despite repeated efforts to advance 20-year legislation. Pensions belong in the budget. The time is now. Pass pension parity for all police in New York.

In the past year, 11 were killed & two dozen injured in major shootings involving U.S. college campuses. But New York University Police use red flag laws to neutralize shooters before they strike. It's time to centralize 29 SUNY campus police forces and make students even safer.
