Wealdstone fans let themselves down at the end there. Get out of jail with a hoof and a lob a your fans some in balaclavas come over to goad the away fans. Poor. Hopefully Southend scores a hatful against them as they’re a terrible footballing team for National League Level.

@LearyEFC @IDL_Darts They pitch invaded at Barnet after a draw and attacked a steward, properly odd club.

@IDL_Darts We went up via the playoffs in a really big rivalry game vs Macclesfield and there was none of that with our pitch invasion. Just fans wanting to be celebrate with the players. Why take a balaclava to a game of footy? 😂😂🥷🏻🥷🏻

@SadButMadLad @antisemitism Incorrect. It gives police the power to impose conditions on an assembly (duration, location etc), which if breached can result in arrest. S12 is essentially the same but for processions. Only the Home Secretary can ban processions.

@antisemitism Section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 does allow the banning of any public assembly, static or not.

The late Ayatollah’s ‘Al Quds Day’ parade has been banned, and instead the organisers will hold a static protest, which cannot be banned under current laws. The organisers, the Islamic Human Rights Commission, have said that the banning of their ‘Al Quds Day’ parade is a “sad day for freedom of expression”. So let’s show them what freedom of expression looks like. Right-minded people should join the Iranian dissident community of London in flocking to the ‘Al Quds Day’ static protest, and drowning them out with our “freedom of expression”. We should do it for Britain, which has suffered enough abuse of our democratic freedoms by the supporters of the medieval death cult that rules Iran. And we should do it for the people of Iran for whom every day of the past 47 years has been a “sad day for freedom of expression”, during which Iranians have been slaughtered in their tens of thousands for speaking their minds. Bring your own speaker systems, leftover rattles from Purim, and most importantly your voices. Let's show the Islamic Human Rights Commission what British “freedom of expression” looks like, in all its glory. Final location and time to follow.

21st February 2015 - After a Grimsby fan with an inflatable beachball was forcefully ejected by stewards at Forest Green two weeks earlier. This happened at Barnet. What a day!!! UTM #GTFC

@Downhill2ndHalf @AndyGeneux Probably a mock up sent to the club when tendering for suppliers, it’s very niche! There was a striped Jako one doing the rounds on eBay which we never wore. That surridge pre season one much better than what we got.

@AndyGeneux @pblockwest This was the one we wore in pre-season in 2011. A better shade than an awful lot of others we’ve had! And any excuse to post Clovis with the armband. The sponsor and kit supplier overlap on the original one posted a bit confusing as they never were on the same shirt.

Anyone able to enlighten us as to what on earth this is? Like a fake market version of the big club’s shirts you see on holiday. Check out that badge for the badge! ebay.us/m/nNCBl6

@Downhill2ndHalf @AndyGeneux It’s a prototype, there was an amber and black striped one from surridge too. If I remember correctly we also wore one in a pre season game.

@AndyGeneux The date is out on it at least. 2007 we had Hummel. The Surridge kits weren’t until 2012. Can only assume this was some sort of prototype effort. Not sure there is or ever has been much of a market for fake Barnet shirts.

@history99917180 M2MP is still used occasionally by the operators. Vehicles will still call MP for pursuits. MP is also used to accommodate pan London resources if GT isn’t open, such as public order reserves over night.

Ex Job. Was watching an old film today and a Bobby in a patrol car used the car set and called up ‘M2 MP’. That brings back memories of chasing stolen Subarus down the M11 towards the smoke. Calling up MP to ask for assistance. Do the new cops still use the ‘M2’ prefix?

I'm sure the @Downhill2ndHalf boys will correct me if I'm wrong, but I make it that @BarnetFC haven't lost a midweek league game across the whole of 2025.

@hfc_felix Good point, do think that if Barnet actually played in High Barnet gates would be higher.

Is there a worst part of the country for non-league attendances than North West London? Barnet last year averaging under 2k most weeks despite being top of the NL, Wealdscum pretty poor, Harrow dreadful, Hendon declining rapidly and terrible for step 3 last year etc.

Pro-Pal was giving out Qurans in Canary Wharf and approached a man standing nearby asking where he’s from. The man responds “none of your business” and he immediately says “You’re a Jew in it. You could tell you’re a Jew. Must be a Jew.” Then he denies antisemitism. Right.

@obbsie @Cole_Jim_1 Of course, my point being, if you look after the relief they won’t be so quick to jump ship creating the experience shortage in the first place.

@pblockwest @Cole_Jim_1 No, but that's down to shite management. Those I spoke to had more than done their bit on response for some years and now await their fate. They've been given no clue as to whether they are staying or going.

Morale may be (well is actually) on the floor with increasing bitterness over numerous issues (including headgear orders re Carnival) which would, in many organisations, affect performance. However, the front line performing duty at the NHC were outstanding in every respect.

@obbsie @pblockwest I can comment to a degree. Whilst I hate to see my colleagues in Mounted and dogs getting cut, & I have my doubts about rotation, having seen it come & go before, it is a fact we have our least experienced cops and supervisors in front line policing.

@obbsie @pblockwest Not shooting the messenger Chris. On any big policing event, you can guarantee that some cops will be unhappy. We used to moan about the feeding at Buckingham Gate on every 3166 debrief, but I bet cops who remember that would take it all back in a heartbeat now.
