@rlfansSaddened He was fine pre injury 2025, and pre injury 2026. I was chastened for suggesting Sailor was a defensive coward after HKR, he showed the same frailty on Saturday…. Doesn’t like the pain!

@pcaswell63 Jack's attitude is what's making me not want him involved. He's sulked for 18 months now at least, even when he has played fullback he's not been the same player.

@AmyLyon1991 Be an interesting decision for the coach, will he dare to put faith in a Saints youngster at 7? I doubt it but would be ecstatic if proven wrong! In an ideal world against Leeds 1, Jack 6, Robbo 7, George 😍

@rlfansSaddened @pcaswell63 Whitby has to play 7 now I’ll be fuming if he plays lomax instead. Wigan and Warrington have played their youngsters this year and done fine. We need to have more faith in our young players

@rlfansSaddened Not sure I’d sack off Jack without giving him a run at fullback! I was speculating about next year…. We’re stuck with Hastings at 7 for this year. Madly I forgot about Robbo, he’ll do for me at 6 next year!

@pcaswell63 Whitby is a 7. Play him there. I'd put Robertson fullback, Sailor 6 and Whitby 7. If we get hammered, so what we're not competing this season anyway.

@shamus1978 Sailor too! Find a 6 or 7 to complement Whitby… and controversially perhaps keep Jonny on, to mentor George next year. He has undoubted potential.

Just to throw my hat into the debate cos why not! I think Welsby deserves a solid stint at 1 without movement because fundamentally, Sailor’s defensive efforts in the position are letting him down. While Sailor does the sparkling things well, it is the defensive basics where there are issues- no point putting the cherry on top of an unbaked cake! I do not think Welsby has been in form but I cannot see how giving him a chance in the position he thrived for an extended period of time (yes, I know it was a while ago) would be worse than the current scenario.

Way too many big earners don’t want to feel pain with and without the ball A disgraceful 40 minute show, barely completed a set and I’m not sure we had the ball in their 20! Get Jonny on to organise things!
