Finally, the team attended the Strategy Meeting on CC Diplomacy & presented the Regional Framework and PCCMHS. The 🔑message is that staying in place is the priority + options are essential inc. regular pathways, legal and social protection of people moving across borders.

On Day 3, PCCMHS partners explored the key gaps and issues related to climate mobility, through discussions with TUCAN, Tuvalu Red Cross and the President of the EKT and the Tuvalu National Private Sector Organization.

Stakeholder meeting in Tonga 🇹🇴 today to brief govt and civil society on the PCCMHS programme phase II and the Pacific Regional FW on #climatemobility. Participants noted the importance of contextualized, translated and accessible information to enhance awareness of communities.

The PRP TWG on Human Mobility met yesterday to take stock of its 5 yr journey and to renew the commitment of members. 37 TWG-HM members reconnected, shared experiences and discussed next steps for the diligent implementation of the Pacific Regional Framework on Climate Mobility.
