@loganb Most countries have some sort of local textile manufacture, even the US. But in places like Zambia for example they've been displaced by cheaper 2nd hand goods. It's interesting though because a replacement industry exists to re-process and tailor. youtube.com/watch?v=iM7uy_…

I just ordered this little guy with a built-in screen, wifi, and bluetooth. Super cool how cheap micro-controller platforms and screens are these days.
