Billionaires don’t wake up at 5am. Teachers, nurses, bus drivers, service workers, etc., wake up at 5am. Billionaires wake up whenever they want because their wealth doesn’t come from their own labor. It comes from the labor of people who will never be billionaires.

Ludicrous. Most doctors don’t make that much til numerous years after a 4-year degree, 4 years of med school, and another 4 years of essentially unpaid residency. Then, finally, they reap the rewards of their efforts. You are not the same. Same goes for highly skilled jobs that pay really well. An electrician takes about 4 years; journeyman plumber: 1 year in Georgia; master plumber: 5 years. You’re not the same.

“People don’t want to work” has always been a weird argument. Offer $350K a year to flip burgers and watch how fast applications start pouring in. The problem isn’t work. It’s pay.

I’m old enough to remember being a part of / resident of the most Gerrymandered congressional district maybe in the history of America, right here in Georgia. And I won’t even comment on the person elected for that district to “represent” us in southeast Georgia from her Fulton County offices. Don’t overlook the thin snake line up the Savannah river into urban areas of Augusta/Richmond County and the snake line down the Savannah river into urban areas of Chatham County. Dems always give better than they get when it comes to playing dirty pool. Always have, they’re just better at it than Republicans.

Democrats are “panicked” as Republicans redraw up to 19 seats for the Midterms. Democrats spent 60 years drawing congressional districts like Salvador Dali on bath salts. Now they’re horrified Republicans are fighting back.
