All the hawkish rhetoric on both sides is largely for domestic audiences. If the threat were truly existential, intelligence cooperation wouldn’t continue and Turkey wouldn’t still allow Azeri oil to flow. We discussed the situation around Iran with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan @RTErdogan.
