@Russellmania621 @team980 I mean I still can’t figure out why ESPN pays Stephen A so much because all he does is just blab and doesn’t seem knowledgeable about anything anymore.
English

@ghostmaybe2 @DCsportsftw2 He played a far more consistent game at BYU than Ace did in college and Ace had Dylan Harper.
English

@HHdmof24292 Recency bias regarding draft prospects is hitting you hard.
Also at no point did he say AJ was a better prospect than Flagg, just in the same tier. Flagg may be better but saying “not close” is wild
English

not close. Flagg goes 1 every year since bron except Wemby
Oz@OBtoojiveforyou
AJ is a Flagg level prospect. Do you think Dallas wishes they traded down for extra assets?
English

@OBtoojiveforyou I like the Collin’s fit. Strong reserve that can start when AD or Sarr miss games. I like Ayo or Grimes as well.
English

@Splashh_Gordon Exactly this. #2, Ace & two other first would do it for me. If they don’t want to give up Ace, it’s #2, Filipowski & 3 unprotected 1s minimum.
Don’t see a match with MEM or CHI cus I doubt MEM is giving up Coward, Wells or Edey or CHI & Matas
Dropping out of top 4 is a no go.
English

I’m not moving off of #1 without an egregious haul. Although I do agree that the talent disparity is minimal.
Like I’d need #2, a promising young star, & 4-5 unprotected firsts.
Doubt anyone is trading all that, so we might as well keep #1.
(& I’m picking AJ.)
wonzo🧀@WonzoTV
now that the dust is starting to settle, I feel like a consensus among the fanbase is forming at AJ should be the unquestioned 1 and I disagree. Guys like Wemby/Flagg were consensus 1, could stitch the jersey at the lottery. DP/Booz, trading back all viable options
English

@collinsworth55 Why are people stuck on this idea of AJ staying in Utah? He’s only been there for 1 year of HS and BYU gave him a massive NIL deal. It’s not like he has been a lifelong Utah resident.
English

@Domo8186 It would have to be the most stupid trade offer by the Jazz for WAS to trade back and that is not the Ainge MO. They aren’t giving up 2, Ace and other picks to move up just to keep a kid in UTAH. Especially with DP fits tha roster well.
English

@SeanSherbs07 @KevinOConnor DP comes with question marks after his odd season at Kansas. He has crazy potential but AJ does as well w/o the hamstring concerns. Ky and AJ can play at the same time at the 2 & 3. Trae is likely to sign a 3 year deal and is still only 27 so he can be a short or long term guy
English

@pdowdy83 @KevinOConnor They might already one. Kyshawn George is 6ft 8 and averaged 14/5/5 and shot 38% from 3 with a 1 block/steal as a 2nd year player... Johnson might be best as a spark plug off the bench. But Peterson? Yeah he is a lead guard. Trae is a short term solution.
English

Can't wait to see if the Jazz try to move up to #1 to take AJ Dybantsa.
English

@MrCongee @bobbybon1324 You may need to at least get your facts straight on which player you are talking about before you start trying to knock them…
English

@bobbybon1324 How could a player who plays 50% of the game be generational?
English

AJ is not a Flagg level prospect.
Oz@OBtoojiveforyou
AJ is a Flagg level prospect. Do you think Dallas wishes they traded down for extra assets?
English

@Tjonesonthenba He profiles as a really good 6th man and always has. Instant offense off the bench is not a bad thing.
English

@shooper9 @KevinOConnor @HousefromDC I think the front office would be ok with either. I do think they would target Ace Bailey instead of Cody if a trade were to be discussed. Not sure how strongly Ainge feels about Ace or AJ comparatively though.
English

@pdowdy83 @KevinOConnor @HousefromDC Makes sense. Would one additional FRP be enough?
I figure AJ or Peterson are both a pretty good fit/pick for you right?
English

@SeanSherbs07 @KevinOConnor Why does DP make more sense for the Wizards? They just drafted Tre Johnson and traded for Trae Young. Wouldn’t the potential star small forward be the better fit?
English

@KevinOConnor It's absolutely going to happen. Peterson makes more sense for Washington and the Jazz owner wants Dybantsa. Washington should ask for 2 Cleveland unprotected picks to move back 1 spot
English

@KevinOConnor As a Jazz fan, I’m rooting for that.
What do you think of:
Number 2 pick
Cody Williams
1 Future FRP
For the Number 1.
Washington Fans, @HousefromDC ? What are your thoughts…?
English

@AJ_Lich @federalbaseball Very true. I think they will weigh both options most likely. If there is a return like that available definitely take it but if it’s meh I would push for an extension. The fan base is burnt out on all of the trades.
English

@pdowdy83 @federalbaseball I mean Mike Soroka got you Ronny Cruz
English

I like watching Griffin pitch, but he’s got 1.98 gap between his ERA and FIP and a .216 BABIP.
This start is very 2023 Josiah Gray coded and I’d rather sell high if there is a legitimate offer out there.
DC Fever@nashunals
If Nats need pitching for this year and next, why not extend Foster Griffin instead of trading him at deadline.
English

@AJ_Lich @federalbaseball If other teams value him at his peripherals and regression is most likely due, will he net a high upside prospect? That’s the conundrum. If it’s a middling return and he would sign a 2 year deal for like $20-24 mil I’d probably extend him.
English

@federalbaseball I’d rather get a high upside prospect than sign him to a multi year deal.
English

@CoachDrewScott @nashunals He’s 30 and he spent 3 years not 5 dominating in Asia. Yes there will be some regression due but at least get your facts right. Pitchers like him are going to land a deal like Matthew Boyd did. 2 year $25-30 mil. He’s not going to land more than 3 years based on recent FA deals.
English
@nashunals The thing to combat an unwillingness to spend isn't to spend on old pitchers who spent the last 5 years in Asia
English

@GregFinberg It’s crazy to think but I will have the same joy if we land 4 as if we land 1 haha
