Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

The “rich” already pay the vast majority of the taxes. The top 5% of the income distribution pays more than 2/3 of the taxes. The bottom 50% of taxpayers pays less than 1% of the federal income taxes. The USA has one of the most progressive tax systems in the world. Those plush European welfare states libtards love so much? Well, I hate to break to you, but those are largely funded with very regressive VAT taxes. The reality is that the already-rich people who control the Democrat Party already have enormous wealth; they want high taxes in order to prevent any upstarts from disrupting their established businesses or challenging their existing position at the top of the socioeconomic pyramid.

This is not surprising, but sad nonetheless for the University of Portland's of college basketball. They discover players like Foxwell with no hope of keeping them once they have success. I wouldn't be opposed to compensation for these schools. Unsure how that would work.
