@TinaKotek $600 million would pay for the outside plant for a public fiber optic network that serves all of Multnomah County, breaking the monopoly power of the megacorps, and allowing interconnectivity at-cost. If the public is making that kind of investment, they deserve to vote on it.

Today, I signed a bill helping to ensure the future of Oregon’s NBA legacy by creating a world-class arena to support Oregon’s economy. We can all be proud of how local and state leaders came together to ensure Portland will remain ‘Rip City’ for years to come.
