While I've been in hospital for 14 weeks watching a large turnover of patients plus my own life I ask myself how unwell these people really are.A large part of it in my view is trying to force people to fit a political and medical ideology that doesn't work (Neoliberalism & DSM).

@SGV_UK I was hospitalised about ten years ago (4 times) and I'm still traumatized by the experience, so take anything I say with a grain of salt :) But yeah, economics and uncertainty definitely feed into worsening our collective mental health.

@SGV_UK Absolutely. When I was in hospital it was more like a holding tank for awkward people. We were heavily medicated. You're not allowed to be different if you're poor, is often what it boiled down to.
