I'm putting a $1000 bounty on the court surveillance footage of Ms. Love and Ms. Hylton allegedly arguing and cursing at each other after todays incident.... any courthouse staff tryna make some side cash hit my DMs 😭😭😭

However the SCOG case "Bowman v. State" seems to suggest that trial doesn't "start" for purposes of Speedy Trial until you actually select and swear in 12 jurors... Which would be next to impossible in this case, within the allotted time...

Current conclusion: I believe there is a good argument that, if a mistrial is called, the State would have 2 months to get a jury selected and sworn in, in order to follow the Speedy Trial rules and retry Young Thug. Anyone with a different perspective is welcome to chime in

I'm being bombarded with mistrial/speedy demand questions so I'm just gonna dump my understanding in a thread and hopefully with further discussion we'll get to a conclusion OCGA § 17-7-170(e) says state has until "next term of court" to retry

Defense teams have individual appointments scheduled with Fani Willis and Adriane Love this morning. Court not expected to be streamed this morning. I don’t have a start time yet.
