Hundreds of Musk Parots arrived here the last few days. First time I have ever seen them here. The Noisy Miners chased them at first, but they are to fast, and there are to many, so have now given up.

@BiodiversityGuy @atlaslivingaust I picked up an erroneous Mallee Emu-wren record once - in NSW. Location details pointed directly to a well-known Vic spot. Was quickly corrected after I sent an email to the ALA team. Easy process and a ‘paper’ trail made regarding the change.

Today, in the top of a red gum, in a hollow with an opening smaller than my hand, I found a feral cat. No wonder many of our arboreal mammals and birds have declined, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

These rare birds are at Boolcoomatta. Every time I visit, I look for them. I wander the plains looking for plains wanderers 😄 No luck yet but I'll try again on the weekend.

@TimBarlow3 Yeah, slowly building the collection when I get the chance. No frostbitten fingers just yet, but it’s certainly been cold.
