As for me, I developed diabetes during the war due to the severe stress and pressure. Mohammed, a young English teacher, escaped from Rafah into Egypt on his own two years ago when it was still possible.
He's been struggling to manage there as a stateless, no-status displaced person not allowed to work.
Just now, he got accepted to a master's program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Glasgow!
This will radically change his life -- and the lives of others.
He needs £2,000 for the tuition deposit in a few weeks to secure his place there.

They’re warning valedictorians and teachers: watch what you say, or we’ll invoke the Education Act.
Students can’t use their voices at their own graduation?
Meanwhile, police officers are under investigation and Ford’s entire caucus is silent. Crickets.
Whose side is he on?
