I just told my best friend that I hadn’t got my dream job, even after over 25 hours spent writing the application. I was obviously upset about this, but I became more upset when his advice (that I hadn’t asked for) was to just “speed apply” for hundreds of jobs. Damned if do/dont

@Slim_Thanos Blindly applying for jobs is not a good strategy. You need to get a referral. Talk to someone on the inside. I’ve heard hiring managers tell me if there’s no referral, they tossed the application. You need to communicate. Don’t be too proud to ask someone for help.
