Sometimes people say that disasters are equalizers, which couldn’t be further from the truth. They are magnifiers of inequality and drivers of gentrification. Wealthier people are able to rebuild (though yes often at great personal cost) or they sell to other wealthy people. 🧵

@cheesemonkeysf @averypickford Not sure I would use the word “corruption” but rather “fraud”- It is fraudulent to keep the “T” in the acronym & keep encouraging teachers to spend their $ on an enterprise that does not center them in their (hypothetically) own professional organization

Has anyone found a way to look at the @NCTM annual conference program where you can see all the presenters without having to click on every single session? That takes FOREVER. It's a bummer that there's no PDF program that I can find. CC: @kdykema
