@tamarranicole My male anesthesiologist was the best, but the male, resident OB did a membrane sweep on me without asking first (or even letting me know it was coming) while checking my cervix. Then informed me he was going to break my waters bc things weren't progressing. I told him to GTFO.

Asked for an epidural after almost 24 hours of labor and the male anesthesiologist refused, telling me epidurals were a luxury and that women have been giving birth for thousands of years without it. And that, friends, is why we need more women in medicine.

Gotta say, I've made a few traffic complaints to @wpgpolice in the last few years, and every single person I've spoken to in the traffic department has had so much empathy and respect - not just for me, but for the person who committed the infraction. Kudos and thanks.

Safeway/Sobeys Compliments large eggs: you can buy 12, 18, or a flat of 30. There's a flag next to the flat that says: "VALUE PICK." We eat a lot of eggs, so I went to grab 30, but decided to check the price per egg first. Guess which eggs are ACTUALLY the value pick?

@pattyboge My toddler and I were intimidated by a Duffy's taxi today while crossing the street with the right of way. I guess we were really inconveniencing them, so the driver went before we were even a quarter of the way across the street - we were still in the same effing lane.

I'm so done with how hostile Winnipeg is towards cyclists and pedestrians. I'm done and furious and cannot fathom why there are no repercussions for drivers who act aggressively towards pedestrians.

I'm so tired of irresponsible dog owners in #Winnipeg. Clean. Up. Your. Dog's. 💩. It is a health hazard, dog poop isn't natural and clean. It can make people - AND OTHER DOGS - sick. The response from my city councillor was "I guess we could put up more signs." 😡😡😡
