Planet Copernicus is fully referencing Qwark.
It has a nod to voice actor Jim Ward who voiced him.
Arena named Qwarktastic Festival, where you fight some enemies from some previous games.
Gerry Conway has sadly passed away at the age of 73.
He is known for co-creating The Punisher, Ben Reilly, Firestorm, Jason Todd & more iconic characters.
He also wrote one of the most iconic comic stories in history — "The Night Gwen Stacy Died"
@Deligoi1@vutkarartist Maybe in the comic, but not necessarily. The show changes a lot—Paul and Debbie differ, and even Omni-Mark’s fate changes. Some say the comic is 100% canon, but the show matters too as an alternate take. I still prefer Debbie not ending up with Nolan. Hope you get my view.
@ham_1500 I don’t compare Nolan to Vegeta—they’re written differently. I love Vegeta, but his writing isn’t great. Nolan feels like an alien learning to be human. He expects forgiveness but doesn’t grasp the emotional damage to Debbie and others. I hope people understand my view
@peirano_ivan It doesn't matter its still fundamentally the same, if vegeta can be forgiven so can nolan, death as a whole is seen differently in fiction than irl, yall always try and say people are wrong to justify it yet you're defending vegeta
@bisquit_john@vutkarartist I’m not denying Nolan’s development—it’s great, and you can see regret. But it’s so well done that he still doesn’t fully grasp the impact on Earth. He acts like “I’m good now, so I’m forgiven,” but no. He doesn’t get the global damage or the pain he caused.
@johnyQuay31@vutkarartist Dragon Ball never focused on civilian impact. We don’t see side characters suffer. Vegeta killed a whole crowd in the Buu saga, but not the aftermath. Invincible shows consequences worldwide. Different focus—that’s why I don’t compare Vegeta to Nolan.
@peirano_ivan@vutkarartist Reason i justify nolan is because i like Vegeta. Who is practically the same. Killed trillions of lives in service of his empire & only changes after experiencing earth.
@laterhomoII@vutkarartist That doesn’t make it less serious. 2–3 million dead isn’t “small.” He destroyed families, left orphans, killed pregnant women, and called Debbie a “pet.” People reduce it to numbers. Not just Debbie—those who knew Nolan felt it. I don’t want him forgiven; it would ruin his arc.
