This is a Timex Sinclair 1500, a compact home computer sold in the United States in 1983 as an improved follow-up to the Timex Sinclair 1000. It came with 16 KB of RAM instead of the 2 KB in the Timex Sinclair 1000, as well as a tactile rubber keyboard instead of the older flat membrane keyboard, which were noticeable upgrades. The TS1500 is a bit of a hardware Frankenstein. It borrowed the ZX Spectrum-style case and raised rubber keyboard, giving it the look of a silver Spectrum, but underneath it was much closer to a beefed-up TS1000/ZX81.
