Great! We are so fortunate that we are able to attract so many highly motivated, talented students from around the world!

Gofundme for Safe Haven, which is helping clothe, feed, transport, and heal people released from DHS detention in Minnesota: gofundme.com/f/safe-haven-i…
Talia Jane ❤️🔥@taliaotg
A grassroots group of volunteers called Safe Haven has been doing nearly round-the-clock jail support for everyone released from Whipple, the federal building ICE operates from. They provide medics, rides, food, clothes, phones—anything people need after being released.

Thousands are marching through Downtown Minneapolis today in frigid temps to protest ongoing ICE operations.
The route runs from The Commons near U.S. Bank Stadium to Target Center, where they’re holding an indoor rally.
Cold weather didn’t stop them.
Fear won’t either.

About two months ago, a homeless individual finally got housing.
I ran into them recently and asked, “How’s it going?”
They said:
“I feel safe. I can lock my door. I sleep through the night instead of worrying about my things being stolen.
My mental health has improved.”
Let that sink in.
One door. One key, equals safety, sleep, dignity and better mental health.
If you want to reduce mental health crises — address housing.
If you want to reduce addiction — address housing.
If you want to reduce public safety issues — address housing.
This isn’t complicated.
Housing isn’t a reward — it’s the foundation.
When people are housed they and communities heal.
