Here’s a quick review of the latest MapleStory update:
Weekly earnings: $2,000
Hunting income per hour: $2.5
• Hunting and boss rewards have been enhanced.
• The cost of enhancements has begun to stabilize.
• In-game bugs are decreasing.

🚨 Current Issues with @MaplestoryU 1️⃣ Hunting System Issues Low Earnings: Even in the best hunting zones, you can only earn about 0.5 NXPC per hour (~$1.3 USD). Lower-level zones? Even worse. No Motivation to Level Up: Reaching level 200 takes over 3 weeks, and the hourly rate is under $1 USD. Level 200 characters are being sold for ~140 $NXPC ($280) it's just more efficient to buy than grind. → Many high-level players are giving up and just buying characters instead of grinding. 2️⃣ Boss Content Issues Decreased Reward Value: Pets and mid-to-high-tier gear drops are either removed or nerfed. Extremely Low Drop Rates: We ran Caruta with 6 users, each having spent over $5,000. • Armor drop rate: 0.2% • Weapon drop rate: 0.024% Only 1 person got a drop: 6 NXPC ($12). That’s it. For 6 people. LOL. 3️⃣ Codex System Issues Massive Nerf Compared to Test Server: Before, completing the codex gave meaningful stat boosts. Now? It’s basically useless. Cosmetic Items Not Included: Fashion items don’t count toward codex completion → treated like trash. Codex Items Losing Value: No reason to buy or collect them anymore. Boss drops are rapidly turning worthless. 4️⃣ Enhancement System Issues Dynamic Pricing Hell: Enhancement costs rise per item table — prices scale up fast. Enhancement Costs Too High: The team says “it’s just early server inflation,” but by the time it stabilizes, most players will be long gone. 5️⃣ Other Issues Hackers still exist: Full-map attacks + stealing NESO drops. Tons of in-game bugs: • Chaos Pierre bug • Quest bugs • Item lock issues • Step-up event bugs 🔹 Conclusion “Why enhance?” → To earn $1/hour? “Why boss run?” → Nerfed drop rates, garbage NESO rewards? Sure, the NXPC token mooned, and events pumped the price. It hit $2B FDV on Binance, Upbit, Bithumb — cool. But the game itself... is in shambles. All the fun parts from the test server are gone. Dopamine systems are nerfed, and meaningful progression is stripped away. We went from having 400 guild members fighting for test server slots → Now? On Pang server, barely 40 active players in our guild Expensive enhancement → No rewards → No growth incentive → High-level users give up → Leveling up makes no sense → Just buy a character → Still need enhancement → Back to square one. If this isn't fixed fast... I’m out too.
