At 11am PT Jan 30th: Flow Foundation will burn 87.4 billion counterfeit tokens.
These tokens being destroyed have already been reclaimed and secured as part of the Network Isolated Recovery Plan following the December 27th security incident.
At no point during the security incident or during the recovery process were user assets lost or at risk.
Today's burn is the final step; permanently destroying the counterfeit supply.
The Flow network is secure and user assets remain safe.
