@SamuelSoehnel @AP4Liberty I’ve run a board game company for 8 years as of this June, and our industry is really suffering due to tariffs. 7 board game companies did lots of layoffs or closed down in just 3 weeks and those are only the ones they know of. The 145% more than doubles per unit manufacturing.

@AP4Liberty I’m an American worker and they aren’t hurting me at all. What has hurt me the past 4 years has been unbearable grocery, gas and home prices.

Being on Team Trump doesn’t mean clapping for bad ideas. These tariffs are taxes, and they’re hurting working Americans. Support the man. Oppose the policy.

@AP4Liberty I’m not sure what you mean in the sense that as a board game publisher/company owner, it’s only bc of the 145% that many of us now can’t afford to produce many of our board games. This only happened bc of this trade war.

I feel like I know how tariffs work and that Democratic tariffs and price controls arent better than Republican tariffs and no price controls.

The Northern Lights action in Boston about an hour ago. There was a 3-5 minute span where you could see the aurora with the naked eye in all directions

I didn't know much of this information. It's beyond sad that Jews have been denigrated and dehumanized again and again. I can't wrap my head around it. Thank you for providing this context around 'go back to Poland.' It really is a slap in the face. ("Slap" is too benign a word, really.)

“Go Back to Poland”. It is a little known fact that quite a few Jews stayed in Poland after the Holocaust believing in the possibility of building a new society from the ashes - one based on socialism and communist brotherhood. They allowed themselves to reniew their faith in Poland, their fellow Poles and the possibility of human fellowship. And then in 1967-1968 Poland became awash in a campaign of Anti-Zionism (nothing against Jews, we really love Jews, this has nothing to do with Jews). Hundreds of “Zionists” became purged from academia and other high level professions (side note: Antisemitism in Nazi Germany, Antizionism in the Soviet World and Eastern Europe were always highly useful in clearing coveted academic positions of Jews). For many Jews this was one persecution too much. While some immigrated to Israel (the Gomulka Aliyah) and the US, many committed suicide. Having picked themselves up from the depth of hell to restore their faith in the possibility of a new Poland that would treat them as equals, they had lost faith in the redemptive possibility of humanity.
