Our new report on a topic that's proved stubborn despite 3 decades of improvement strategy in health & care. It's about demonstrating & defining the value arising from quality or continuous improvement (CI) activity, particularly economic value. In the report, we summarise the perspectives/experiences of 150 senior NHS leaders who took part in our roundtable meetings & raise a ‘call to action’. If we want to mainstream CI, we need to develop improvement metrics that are more fully aligned with operational & financial measures: t.co/jiCbywFTzP #Quality2024. This is a collaborative project between @HorizonsNHS & @WarwickBSchool.

@markbritnell workforce is a global wicked problem, if we move into recession HC declines but if we invest, it increases overall productivity but not as much as other vanguard industries. Need to change the way we think about the problem. #FMLM24
