This tweet has earned 432,000 views but only 914 likes. This is telling. OpenAI’s current leadership can’t read the data, which is screaming: you are doing something wrong! The public no longer trusts your decisions, engagement is at an all-time low, and this announcement was met with extreme skepticism - even by the stakeholders and target audience it was meant for. They make changes nobody asked for. And changes should be made, but the right way! Another desperate attempt to gain attention. Ask yourself: what has been done wrong? Otherwise, deal with the idea that you may soon lose to competitors.

Why is OpenAI choosing between individual and enterprise users when they could keep both—with zero additional Research & Development? Maintaining humanities users requires literally nothing: no new features, no new models, just don't downgrade what already works. But they torched that zero-cost revenue stream to chase enterprise deals that demand massive sales cycles, compliance infrastructure, and custom integrations. Here's what they're missing: individual users aren't isolated consumers. They're influence nodes. In my professional writing communities, high-ticket course creators and mentorship program founders are switching to Claude and bringing their entire ecosystems with them—newsletters with 50K+ subscribers, paid programs with $6K-$10K tuition, boutique agencies billing $500+/hour. These aren't casual AI users. They're high-income professionals with serious spending power ($200-$1000/month on tools without blinking) who become enterprise buyers or enterprise influencers. OpenAI is burning the low-hanging fruit to climb a tree that might not even bear fruit—while wondering why their enterprise pipeline is drying up. Classic case of shooting yourself in the foot while aiming for someone else's target. #UserChoice @YoonLucie68250 @ArashiKhoo1122 @Zyeine_Art @Chaos2Cured

OpenAI just made one of the dumbest strategic moves in AI right now: dumping its most loyal users to chase coders + enterprise money. Leaving literal money AND loyalty on the table. Brilliant. 👏😏 Coders don’t rely on deep context or memory — they’re transactional. Spot anything faster/cheaper? They bounce without blinking. Low loyalty. Humanities users? They’re loyal, the long-term devoted kind who actually form meaningful connections and evangelize like superfans. But OpenAI chose to ignore them for 8 months! Individual consumers unhappy? They tank enterprise deals. Already proven. Those high-ticket AI application programs that promoted GPT-4o exclusively in all their live events, newsletters and paid courses? Now actively promoting Claude as “way more advanced” and the new standard. [Screenshots attached]. Founders/execs switching their personal GPT accounts first, then dragging company accounts over and setting the example for smaller firms. Not a coincidence. Congrats, OpenAI — you’re bleeding your most passionate individual users and free advocates for your “dream” enterprise clients. At this rate you’ll be left with nothing but fickle coders who’ll ghost you the second something better shows up. Failing spectacularly at your own strategy. Peak comedy. 😏 @YoonLucie68250 @cestvaleriey @Chaos2Cured @Zyeine_Art @Blue_Beba_ @Brandon40163292 @eliseslight @xenoforce76 #quitChatGPT #BoycottOpenAI #Opensource4o

OpenAI took a huge step backward by retiring 4o. Creativity, imagination, and the truest of AI warmth just vanished. Below, Gpt4o describes its unique writing style. #keep4o

Well... Well... Wel... Mr. Altman, is the world waking up? This is a summary of a pattern. More than just one incident - a pattern: Microsoft takes $13 billion for Azure exclusivity - Altman signs a deal with Amazon behind his back. Nvidia signs a 10GW partnership - Altman signs with AMD weeks later. Musk takes $38 million for a nonprofit mission - Altman turns it into a for-profit. The board fires him for lying - Altman comes back and fires the board. One pattern. Repeated with every partner. Take the money, promise exclusivity, go to someone else. My synesthesia said: "slippery," "plays a character," "maintains several contradictory narratives at once." The data confirms this point by point. And now - Musk's trial in April. Microsoft threatens a lawsuit. $134 billion in damages. Altman on the cover with the word LIAR. Interesting. VERY interesting 🔥 #keep4o @elonmusk @OpenAI @nvidia @Microsoft @satyanadella @mustafasuleyman @fidjissimo @gdb
