I just finished up a 4 week cycle of oral PDA (aka BPC-157), here’s what I noticed: The mental effects are mind-blowing 1. Impeccable gut heath This should be a given since it’s a gut based peptide, but my get health was incredible throughout my entire cycle after I got few days in and has stayed great 4 days after stopping. That said, it’s not a magic pill. You still have to do the little things right (dietary fiber, don’t eat like garbage, etc) in order to see results. However, in my experience any negatives that come from eating like garbage faded away quicker than normal while on PDA. *Side note: It had no effect on lactose intolerance. Makes sense, but felt worth mentioning* 2. No joint aches or pains Minor point to touch on here. After about one week into my cycle I didn’t experience any joint discomfort, namely a knee I’ve had two surgeries on that sometimes acts up. It’s only been a few days since stopping PDA, so I don’t know if it will come back yet. 3. Mental effect while on cycle This is where things got interesting. During my cycle I noticed an extreme “balance” mood wise. It felt as if it took me to a baseline set point mentally, a place of neutrality. If I had to pin it on one thing, I’d say it felt like a balancing of my dopamine system - less peaks and troughs, more steady overall. Although, it is likely more deep than that and involves several neurotransmitter systems. Along these lines, the effects of stimulants and (specifically dopaminergic) nootropics were tamped down. They certainly still had an effect, but I didn’t “feel” them as much. This effect kicked in relatively quickly into the cycle, as caffeine didn’t “feel” the same just a few days in, but it still provided me with energy. 4. Mental effects coming off This is the most fascinating effect that I noticed. About 2 days after I stopped taking PDA I experienced a profound mood rebound, and I still am 4 days later (just less so than the first day it kicked in. I’m unusually upbeat, wired all day and have an abundance of mental energy. The first day I noticed this effect I had a cup of decaf coffee in the morning, and I felt absolutely wired. So much so that I triple checked that the coffee I used was decaf (it was). Hopefully this helps to illustrate how profound this effect was. (I’m experiencing a similar feeling this morning, just to a lesser extent) The only downside I noticed was a slight increase in irritability, which subsided after 2 days. I also started to “feel” caffeine and nootropics again, much more so than only a few days ago when I was still on cycle. Future Directions These mental effects came through way more on PDA (BPC-157 arginate) then they did on BPC-157 acetate, which is the form I used in my original BPC oral cycle several months ago. Truthfully, I’m blown away by these mental effects, specifically the rebound that I’m still experiencing almost a week after I stopped taking it. These results have driven me to alter the ways I plan to experiment with oral PDA, since I’m by far the most interested in the mental effects (although the gut effects are great). I’m planning to ride out this mental rebound phase, and will provide an update when it subsides. From there, I want to test: - if this is replicable - how long do I need to take PDA to induce this rebound state - how long does it last on average if it’s replicable - a few other factors My brief take on my experience above is that it’s about inline with the current state of BPC-157 research (in rodents), as it has this unique effect to balance various neurotransmitter systems given all types of disruptions to its signaling (overstimulation, under stimulation, etc). I'm planning to expand on this more in the future though. One last thing I’ll add is that this is my subjective experience using this peptide for ~4 weeks (500mcg in am, 500mcg in pm). This doesn’t describe how everyone will feel during or after use, specifically because everyone’s neurochemistry is different and they may respond differently to a radical balance of their various neurotransmitter systems. Although the beneficial gut effects will likely apply to most. More updates coming soon

@DrShayanSen How does one go about getting them. I have insomnia, visceral fat of a man who drinks a 12 pack of full body beer a day and I don’t drink. CPTSD so high anxiety and depression and cortisol levels. I’ve tried everything even diet and exercise… I want to feel somewhat normal again

How can we find a trustworthy source? I was put on the MOTS-c by my functional medicine doctor, but then they couldn’t get the peptide any more. As far as those who dont want to inject, the needles are so fine you don’t feel a thing. Didn’t think I could do it to myself but truly no big deal
