@PurpleRain713 Beto’s politics is simply the politics of kindness. He sees the cruelty of the system and speaks out against it without hyperbole.

I agree.
He’s not saying Biden isn’t the right person to lead the country. He’s talking of a big bold move to change the tone of the present negativity surrounding Biden.

Have any white southerners present at lynchings ever expressed public remorse or disgust or repentance? A fair amount of the children photographed at these outrages may still be alive. They’d remember.
That I’m aware, such public contrition or denunciation has not ever happened.

@TWLadyGrey I don’t think he’s the only vote in question. I think there are a fair few older Dems who like having power over appointments as a bargaining chip. People like to blame Manchin for everything but I think he was a “human shield” in many respects.

Also Black women were NEVER seen as “too delicate” to work and I’m not just talking about this country being built on slavery, the whole premise of The Help & the reason so many Black women were maids & housekeepers is because WW didn’t even want to work INSIDE their homes either
