@bmracingclub A great man. He knew the guys I used to drink with in the old medallion bar at Caulfield. I was introduced to him. From that day on he always remembered my name and greeted me like we were old friends! His work in racing at all levels and the media was incredible. Vale Ted.

There's a DP/Sunshine tournament in South Africa this weekend that hasn't seen a single post. I'm sure it's a fine event

@EvinPriest Volunteered for years at the Aus Open and other events in Australia. Bringing it back to a stand alone event is massive. A great move. And yes I’ll be going to Adelaide to support the Aus Women’s Open in March next year!

The aesthetics of the Australian Open are perfect. Not overly corporate; beer/food stands are nondescript. Crowds standing on top of the bunkers surrounding every hole & down the wide fairways. The rustic MacKenzie supporting it all. Augusta could learn a thing here…

And it’s attracted massive crowds at a golf course in the top ten in the world. I’m a volunteer at the event and can’t wait to be back there in the morning.
