Marathon’s biggest problem is that extracting is rarely ever exciting. In Arc Raiders, every extract point was guarded by a major enemy (Rocketeer, Leaper, etc). You never ever felt safe until you made it out.
Especially when the game was new, every extract was hype. Most marathon extracts are just waltzing up to the thing, calling it, and then leaving.

If anyone in the Destiny community goes after Cozmo and DMG during the fallout right now, then you were never part of the Destiny COMMUNITY. You were just a consumer, and now you're a Karen.

These types of takes show you who is a tourist. People will blame buzzwords like woke and DEI, but they'll never mention the portal, power creep, pvp sandboxes, old-gen support.

I just can't come to terms with this man
We might never do a day 1 raid again. Might never feel that feeling of working together to solve an ARG or secret in this amazing world. Might never feel that sense of community again.

Maybe im just stupid but destiny 3 seems like such a clear and obvious choice and it infuriates me that whoever is calling the shots seems ok with letting the destiny IP just fade away into nothing

@PaulTassi @DamagedSector I was under the impression hardware sales are not very profitable, if at all. Didn't one company sell hardware at a small loss at one point?
Perhaps its more about the subscriptions, rather than hardware?
Either way, if it's not on PC I'll never play it..

@DamagedSector Sony doesn’t want to get into a “I’ll just wait for PC” situation for all its games in a time when selling hardware is hard enough. And of course I mean it’s good for them, not consumers
