@Chicagoholic_ @Jad02632 @ftskeebo @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger Yes, ticky tack calls in the NBA are inconsistent. My point is, flagrant fouls that put people away for the next game are pretty consistent imo. You have to do something crazy to get a flagran 2. Red cards have got to be crazy consistent for what the penalty is for getting one.

@Jad02632 @ftskeebo @Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger My point is that even when they make those calls the penalty is 2 free throws and the ball? When you’re sending someone away for the next game of the biggest tournament in the world I think it means just a bit more.also haven’t replied ab VAR and the fact they can review any play.

@Jad02632 @ftskeebo @Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger Yes, there were 3 flagrants called in the finals. They prolly missed the wemby push down of Brunson but again, the NBA doesn’t haven VAR. you can literally go back and review any play in soccer and they didn’t with Messi. Now we have to play rd of 16 without one of our best.

@Jad02632 @ftskeebo @Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger I find that it’s much easier to rig a soccer match than any American sport. There’s so many judgement calls in soccer. The difference between us having our striker for the next game and not is an inconsistent rule. At least we have consistency with our flagrant fouls.

@Jad02632 @Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger it’s different because they can go back and review it just like they did in this game. They didn’t. Not to mention that that was in the group stage and wouldn’t have mattered really at all for Argentina. So now, we have to play without our best striker because of “inconsistency”

@perry_hunter5 @Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger Yeah, that’s also an automatic red, but the refs did not call it. They got it wrong. He just didn’t get called because he’s Messi. Let’s not use refs intentionally ignoring the rules as the reason this call is wrong. It’s the right call, even if it’s been inconsistent.

@Chicagoholic_ @TheNotoriousHRT @mjeichinger “A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent must be sanctioned as serious foul play.” That is from the fifa rule book, a direct quote. I missed the part where it says anything about intent.

@healt32671 @DanisMCFC My only question is that he was also trying to play the ball. If that guy wouldn’t have put his foot in front of the Senegal guy he probably would’ve cleared it.

@GenBriffin @cgotterup132 Fitzy literally said that was “child’s play” compared to bethpage. These guys are used to it. He gets paid millions of dollars to play golf. Don’t put it 20 yards off the fairway and he would’ve easily tied the hole.

@83boabobski @SeaSpitfires @LevraisFractal I think the main reason it is glorified so much is because we didn’t have to help. We wanted to. We were still fighting Japan at this time and could’ve told Europe to jump off a bridge. Not saying they couldn’t have figured it out with the help of the Russians but ya

@SeaSpitfires @LevraisFractal The US progress on the beaches was due to SAS in behind the lines too. Much of people's understanding comes from films which are mainly US made so obviously glorify their part in greater detail

@TheMagicBeet @American__Sam @Wh1teGravy227 @MarioNawfal I can agree with that. Although, I would argue if the Iranian people or North Korean people (since I brought them up earlier) had the ability to do it they probably already would’ve. When they try to stage a revolution they are executed. You can’t execute the US.

@TheMagicBeet @American__Sam @Wh1teGravy227 @MarioNawfal Brother I’m not talking about Israel, I’m talking about Iran 🫩 Iranians have on average some of the highest IQs. I know about the USS Liberty. I already said I don’t support the state of Israel because Netanyahu and his boys are corrupt. I have nothing against Jews whatsoever.
