Ask how they view a relationship or what they want their relationship to be like. And if everything centers around them, please flee for your life. There's no future with a self-centered person.

The difference between most of us and our politicians is that they have the opportunity most of us don’t. Nigerians are very wicked people

Don't let your personal life be like Nigeria Any money you make when the going is good, Delay gratification, Save a chunk, Invest it and deploy it for growth - Stop buying gadgets you don't need - You have a laptop & phone. you don't need a tab - You live alone, you don't need a 2 bedroom - You have enough clothes. stop buying more - You don't need that PS5, you won't have time to play it - Start your content creation with a phone. you don't need all those lights and gadgets. the gadget won't help you. your grit is what will help you - Cook your food. Once in a while fine dining is cool. but cook 99% of what you eat When Nigeria experienced the biggest oil boom and revenue growth, our population was almost 50% smaller, it was easier to develop Nigeria then to be anything great But the politicians refused to delay gratification, they married new wives, drank wine, partied, bought houses, etc Today our population is twice, infrastructure need is double and all the monies we made

Japa is not the same as Relocating abroad. Japa is basically an escape from an economically depressed country to a country that works. say from Nigeria to the US or UK. it is fueled by a strong desire to have a shot at a better life. often seen as a last resort. most Japa candidates take on huge loans to facilitate their travel. Relocation on the other hand may not be informed by ‘Japa need’. a large percentage of people who relocate abroad are doing relatively well. some were just frustrated with family, their job, the government or decided to just start afresh in a different environment. a desire to begin a new life elsewhere not motivated by economic need. say an American moving to the UK or Nigeria. for Nigerians, japa is what we turn to when salaries can’t keep up with inflation. when the naira keeps losing value against the dollar, and businesses collapse under unstable policies. when basic things like light, food, shelter, internet data, security, and healthcare becomes luxuries. that’s why you see people selling lands or family properties. taking loans with crazy interest rates. emptying life savings, risking everything on student visas or care jobs just to break away form the matrix. for us, japa is a way of life.

"I thank you for giving me 4M for my health, last year. I need another 4M but I've been working & I've raised 2M". I learnt from my mother long ago not to take kindness of anyone for granted (most importantly show that you don't) especially when they don't owe you anything.

The first time I’m agreeing with Madame Joyce - So some women want to br£ak gender norms by going to school, getting a job, working, but not contribute financially to their homes? Lol. Wow. Gender equal!ty flies out when it comes to provision. —Solomonbbuchi
